Visiting PhD Student

Jin-Seop Lee is a Ph.D. student at Sungkyunkwan University and a visiting Ph.D. student in the Agentic Learning AI Lab at NYU. At Sungkyunkwan University, he works with Prof. Jee-Hyong Lee in the Information & Intelligence System Lab. Previously, he was a visiting researcher at Nanyang Technological University, working with Prof. Jaehong Yoon and Prof. Boyang Albert Li. His current research interests include human-centered AI agents, personal world models, and proactive AI. At NYU, he is working with Prof. Mengye Ren toward building a J.A.R.V.I.S.-like AI assistant that provides assistance aligned with human intent, understands individual user preferences, and continually develops its proactive assistance skills.
